This house is located just off the Manly foreshore and was designed by Cavill Architects. The palette was inspired by the local paperbark trees - soft greens, pinks, tans and white. The earthy scheme flows throughout the house and was a strong foundation for Connors & Co. to build on, furnishing this contemporary home.
The aim was to create a warm ambience throughout, with a focus on the living room. Layers of saturated colour compliment Spotted Gum floors and Rosewood sliders. The blue Togo chair further elevates the mood from warm to electric, in a space that feels as vibrant as its vivacious owners.
In the living room, fine art meets street art. The skater captures the atmosphere of the space with his laid back sun-drenched vibe. HIs graceful form mirrors the energy and movement of Kelly Wearstler's abstract fabric on Grandma's restored chair.
The project celebrates the unexpected in furniture, textiles, art and ceramics. All the elements combine to create a bold and fun space, full of joy.← Back to all projects
